Animoto is a website that allows users to create slideshow videos. Videos are stored in the cloud and can be worked on from any computer with internet access. Also, teachers can get a pro account free for one year!
Animoto is my go-to if I want to make a quick, good-looking video. Simply upload photos, organize them in the order you want, add some text, choose a template you want to use, and let Animoto do its thing. If you want to be in charge of the edits, transitions, and backgrounds, Animoto probably isn't for you. - ChrisTuckerEdu
"My students use Animoto more and more for assignments that previously would have been done using PowerPoint or iMovie. On big advantage of Animoto is that it can be done on an iPad using the Animoto app, as well as on the Animoto website using a desktop or laptop computer. Although you do not have as much control over the final product as with iMovie, Animoto is much easier to use." - Graphite review from Mary S.
"I enjoyed my students going through the process of creating book trailers. It allows all students in spite of their academic challenges to create and display what they were learning." - Graphite review from Laticia C.
