Pokemon Go has been out now for a little less than a week and it has already taken over the world... okay, maybe not, but it has become insanely popular in the few days that it has been available. When developing lessons, I try to consider what's going on in pop-culture, as well as what my particular students are interested in. Once Pokemon Go came out, I immediately started thinking of ways to use it in the classroom (as I'm sure many other teachers did).
One of the most difficult aspects of teaching with Office 365 was the inability to easily assign and collect homework assignments from students. That's why one of the most exciting recent announcements for teachers who use Office 365 is Microsoft Classroom. I used to teach with Google Classroom, but after using Microsoft Classroom for the last week, I'm excited to see that Microsoft has taken the "classroom" model to a whole new level.
